Character is drawn correctly- obvious enough, you stand a better chance of winning if you draw the character correctly
Character is in 'character'- basically as long as they're not OOC, you're fine
Season appropriate clothes- most of my OCs have different outfits for different times of the year (ex. Winter School Uniform), so drawing them in winter clothes gives you a better chance at winning
Follow one of the Bonus Themes- you stand a better chance of winning if you do a bonus theme, which are listed below

And besides, due to some bad critiques about me, this is the last contest I'll be doing for at least a year...That news is unfortunate as well. Your characters are lovely, and I would love to draw them, but alas I lost that opportunity. Maybe you can find an artist who can help you judge to prevent bias and favoritism. Just my suggestion though, no hard feelings!
